We find colleagues going your way

CrewCommute checks whether your colleagues share a similar route and timeline. You won't see names or exact addresses at this stage.

You decide if you want to ride

Drivers can offer a seat. Riders can request a lift. A ride only happens if both of you agree. Nobody is pressured into anything.

How payment works

When a trip is complete, CrewCommute tells you what a fair contribution is based on the distance. Payment goes directly from you to your driver — using PayID, which lets most people send money using just a mobile number. No BSB, no account numbers, no cash.

Don't use PayID? You and your driver can sort out another way between you.

Your privacy and safety

Will colleagues see my home address?

We use your home suburb to find matches — the address you provide for pickup is only shared when a match is accepted, and it doesn't need to be your home address.

Can anyone outside your workplace join?

No. Only staff from your workplace can create and use a CrewCommute account, signing in with their work email.

Do I have to accept a ride request?

Definitely not. You choose every time.

What if I don't want to ride with someone again?

Just let us know after the trip. We'll make sure you're not shown to each other in future matches — no explanation needed.

What if there are no rides yet?

That's normal at the start. Sign up and add your commute — the more colleagues who join, the more useful it gets. You'll get a text if someone posts a trip that matches yours.

Do I have to use it every day?

Not at all. Use it when it suits you — whether that's every shift, once a week, or just when you're stuck.
